These baths were built around the turn of the 20th century as part of a long-overdue public health campaign to combat the unsanitary conditions found in poorer quarters of the city, where most families lacked access to bathing facilities.

Hahaha. Amazing!
can’t believe it. i’ve meet this couple twice on St. Patrick’s Day during my holidays in NYC. i remember them because the first time that we’ve meet they were in front of me having a weird conversation and then, in the evening we’ve meet again in the subway in Union Square. Weird life. Anyways, congrats for your blog.
Doubly amazing!
