I'm walking every street in New York City.
This is the counterpoint to
my walk across the US. Instead of seeing a million places for just a minute each, I'm going to spend a million minutes exploring just one place. By the time I finish walking every block of every street in all five boroughs, I'll have traveled more than 8,000 miles on foot — all within a single city.

Your donations allow me to keep walking full-time. If you think what I'm doing is valuable and you'd like to offer some support, I would be very grateful. On the other hand, if you think I'm a worthless bum, feel free to email me and tell me to get a job, bozo. Both are excellent options!
arent the nets looking a little low for vollyball? Perhaps Badmitten Championships…it was warm enough yesterday for it. By the way..those your footprints?? walking on the beaches would count.
Ha, I was on this same pier yesterday, though probably at a different time than you – I was there around lunchtime, doing some handstands on the artificial grass just past the volleyball area. :)
(Actually, my lunch companion just reminded me that we were there post-lunch, at like 2:15 – 2:30 pm – so perhaps closer to when you were there than I initially thought!)
Perhaps you were preoccupied with your handstands and didn’t notice our hobo :-)
Haha. I was actually wondering how that artificial grass area is used. The only people I saw there were two women doing weird exercises, so I guess your activities are right in line!
I thin this is in one of the piers which is part of the Hudson River Park and overlooking Battery Park City. There’s also a mini golf course for kids in that area.
