Day 126

Mike!

July 30th, 2010

Remember ol' Norbert from way back in eastern Pennsylvania? I stayed with his family in the house where the guy tried to shoot his daughter back in the 30s. Well, I met his brother Mike this morning! Mike was heading home to Spokane when he spotted me walking down the highway, so he pulled over to say hi and make a contribution to my restaurant fund. Can you see the resemblance to Norbert? It was very apparent in person.

I was filling up water bottles at this spring when I met Curtis, who just stopped by on his way back to Portland. He had been playing bass in a nearby baroque music festival. Perhaps we'll run into him again on down the line...
